Organigram to Host Company's Third Career Fair

Moncton, New Brunswick, June 1, 2018 -- Organigram Holdings Inc. (TSX-V:OGI) (OTCQB:OGRMF) (the “Company” or “Organigram”), a leading licensed producer of medical marijuana based in Moncton, New Brunswick, is pleased to announce that preparations are underway for the company’s third career fair, to be held at the Delta Beausejour (750 Main St., Moncton) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 9, 2018.  

Organigram is seeking to add more than 100 employees in multiple disciplines within the business, with immediate needs in the company’s processing/packaging, production and sanitation teams.

Organigram is anticipating significant business growth as the company expands its existing medical cannabis production and prepares for the adult recreational cannabis market.

“Organigram is growing quickly in multiple areas of the company. We have successfully drawn over 150 remarkable individuals from the talent pool in New Brunswick in the past few months to help achieve our goal of producing the highest-quality cannabis to supply both the growing medical market and impending adult recreational market,” says Greg Engel, Organigram CEO. “This third career fair in less than a year’s time is a testament to the rapid growth of and interest in this vibrant industry.”

Organigram’s Moncton facility currently employs approximately 300 employees. That number is expected to grow beyond 400 by the end of 2018.

Those interested in pursuing a career in processing/packaging, production or sanitation at Organigram are encouraged to attend the company’s #DiscoverOGI Career Day, scheduled to take place in Beausejour Room A at the Delta Beausejour (750 Main St., Moncton) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 9.

Minimum hiring criteria:

  • Ability to hold and maintain Security Clearance as per the Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations
  • Current resume
  • Satisfactory criminal record check
